The Electric Union reported that yesterday the service was affected due to a capacity deficit from 4:06 p.m. to 8:57 p.m. (04:51 a.m.), mainly

in the central-eastern area of the country, due to high transfers of energy.

The maximum impact at night was 321 MW at 6:50 p.m., coinciding with peak hour.

As of 06:23 hours, the service began to be affected due to a deficit in generation capacity and high transfers to the central-eastern zone.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2020 MW and the demand is 2080 MW.

Units 6, 7 and 8 of the CTE Mariel, unit 4 of the CTE Nuevitas, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and units 3 and 5 of the CTE Renté are out of service due to breakdown.

Unit 4 of CTE Cienfuegos, unit 1 of CTE Felton and units 4 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

Limitations on thermal generation (258 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 866 MW are unavailable due to failure and 483 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of 153 MW in diesel engines is expected.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,303 MW and a maximum demand of 2,800 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 497 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 567 MW is forecast

during this time.
