[Reporter Liu Binquan/Report from Nantou] There has been little rainfall in Sun Moon Lake recently, the reservoir is unable to make ends meet, and the water level continues to drop. As a result, the white gravel in the waters of Crescent Bay in the pool area is exposed, making the shore of the bay present the wonder of "Angel's Tears" Jiaming Lake, and a frog on the shore. The stone is also called "the tenth frog of Sun Moon Lake" by photographers. Taipower Corporation, which manages the Sun Moon Lake Reservoir, pointed out that due to the limited water intake and the supply of agricultural water, the water level will continue to drop. It is expected that the water supply will be adjusted again in March. Hope to maintain the normal water level in the pool area.

The water level of Sun Moon Lake has not stopped falling recently. The current water level is 745 meters, and the water storage rate is 83%. The white gravels on the shore are gradually exposed, and the calm lake surface reflects the blue sky. The beautiful scenery is like reproducing the "angel's tears" of Jiaming Lake, attracting people to take pictures.

Taipower said that Sun Moon Lake has been dry for a long time without rain, and the upstream water intake is insufficient. In addition, in conjunction with downstream agricultural water use, the daily water supply in February is 20 to 23 tons per second (CMS). As for the water regime, as for the Nine Frogs "all exposed", it means that there is still 80% of the water volume in the pool area. However, even though the water storage is relatively high, the public should still save water to avoid insufficient rainfall in the future and affect the subsequent water regime regulation.
