Minister of Education Serhiy Shkarlet appealed to military administrations and heads of educational institutions with a recommendation to switch to

distance learning

from February 22 to 24, before the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, due to the threat of massive missile strikes.   

He wrote about this in Telegram.

"In order to ensure the life and health of all participants in the educational process, as a preventive measure before the anniversary of the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, I appealed to the heads of regional and Kyiv city military administrations, heads of educational institutions with a recommendation to organize an educational process from February 22 to 24, 2023 in educational institutions in a distance format," the message reads.

He also noted that as of today, as a result of the Russian aggression, 3,128 educational institutions have been damaged, of which 441 have been completely destroyed.

461 children died at the hands of the occupiers, 926 were injured.
