The head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, today expressed a cautious interest in the peace plan prepared by China, while calling on Beijing not to help Russia undermine the "territorial integrity" of Ukraine, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.

Kuleba recalled the 10-point peace formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"We think this is a way to go that is comprehensive, tight and efficient," he said.

I think there is a common element in both plans for Ukraine and China: the principle of territorial integrity, Kuleba pointed out.

This is not just an element, it is a cornerstone, emphasized the Ukrainian first diplomat.

"Everything that China has done and will do in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine, if we put aside the political rhetoric and look at the actions, should be aimed at protecting the principle of territorial integrity," Kuleba pointed out.

If any country helps Russia to destroy the territorial integrity of Ukraine, then the message is clear: anyone else can do the same in any other specific situation in the world, warned the Ukrainian foreign minister.

China has promised to publish its proposal for a "political solution" this week before the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022.
