The American leader addressed the Russians and emphasized that, despite Putin's statement, the US is not going to destroy or attack Russia.

He said this during his speech on the evening of February 21.

"I want to appeal to the citizens of Russia. The United States of America is not going to destroy Russia, we are not going to attack Russia. Millions of Russian citizens want to live in peace with their neighbors, they have never been enemies. This is a tragedy," Biden emphasized.

He emphasized that the decision to start this war was made by Putin himself.

He can stop it by withdrawing his troops from Ukraine.

"President Putin chose war, and it is his choice - how long this war will last. He can stop the war. If Russia stops this attack and withdraws from Ukraine, it will be the end of the war, if Ukraine stops resisting the enemy, it will be the end of Ukraine," - said Biden and added that in any case, Ukraine will be able to stand up for itself. 

It will be recalled that American President Joe Biden in Warsaw also said that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who unleashed a brutal war in Ukraine, has already lost his strength.
