Serbian defense minister proud: Our army is more powerful than ever

We have to invest huge money in the defense industry and the army.

I had a conversation with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.

We are trying not to harm anyone in the country, but to drastically increase our operational-functional capabilities, our combat capability, said Vucic during his visit to the arms fair in Abu Dhabi, BTA adds.

He indicated that the plan is to procure 200 locally produced heavy guns in 2023 and 2024, which will cost around 300 million euros.

Speaking about the arms race around the world, Vucic said Kosovo plans to receive 100 armored cars by the end of the year, partly from donations, in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

Vucic noted that in the last 70-80 years there has not been such an intensive armament as today.
