As of now, the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border remains fully under control, the Russians currently do not have a strike group ready for a second invasion from the north

of Belarus.

The spokesman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, told about this on the air of the national telethon.

"Considerable attention is paid to this direction, because there are units of the Russian Federation on the territory of Belarus. However, at the moment we do not note such a striking and necessary group that could invade the territory of Ukraine. Neither do our intelligence units, which are monitoring the situation," - he said.

However, the spokesman of the DPSU stressed that the enemy should not be underestimated, and at any moment this direction may also become active.

Border guards are preparing and continue to strengthen the border.

At present, the Russian military in Belarus are mostly located on training grounds, where joint exercises take place, or where their training takes place.

The threat of a repeated attack from the territory of Belarus

The border guards note that at least two weeks will pass from the moment of formation of an offensive group in Belarus to its

possible invasion of Ukraine.

According to the GUR, currently

the Belarusian army does not take part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine

, but theoretically Belarusians can fight as part of the occupying forces as mercenaries.

Franak Vyachorka, a senior adviser to Belarusian opposition leader Svitlana Tykhanouska, says that the probability of an attack from the territory of Belarus is unlikely.

But this does not mean that in a month or two

Russia will not transfer its forces to the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

The commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy

Naev, says that the threat to Ukraine from Belarus depends on the enemy's forces

, which are located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Belarusian dictator Oleksandr

Lukashenko declared that he is ready to conduct hostilities together with the occupiers "if even one Ukrainian soldier crosses the border"

.

He also added that he is ready to allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to use his country as a springboard for Russia's new offensive against Ukraine.
