Military expert Oleg Zhdanov commented on whether we should expect significant successes of the occupiers at the front in the near future, given the Kremlin's desperate efforts to seize the entire Donbas.

He said this on the air of his YouTube channel.

Zhdanov claims that 300,000 occupiers, which the Russian Federation kept as a reserve and trained at its training grounds, are already in Ukraine.

"Not even 300 - more. We expect that 400,000 occupiers will be in Ukraine by the end of February-beginning of March. But that's all. There are still about

200,000 conscripts

in the Russian Armed Forces, but they are not being driven here yet. Besides , these conscripts are now responsible for all the support of Russian military units: loading of equipment, its escort from storage places to repair places, etc.," says the expert.

In his opinion, they collected everything that the Russians could.

Although he admits that

the number of enemy attacks

on the front can really be

increased

.

Zhdanov assumes that sometime

in March, the Russian Federation will reach the peak of its combat capabilities.

"Today's 400,000 occupiers on our territory are radically different from the 150,000 that were in the summer. It was much more difficult to fight in the summer, because it was a regular army. Today, they are mobilized and their level of training is much lower. So far, they win only by their numbers. Maybe Putin will collect another 300,000 by mid-summer if he dares to announce mobilization," he concluded.

It should be noted that not all experts share Zhdanov's opinion that the Russian Federation used almost all of its reserves in Ukraine.

Previously, a military expert, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, said that the Russians could follow such a scenario when using the strategic reserve of 150,000 to 200,000 troops, which they are currently preparing.

Military observer Oleksiy Hetman reported that Russia's repeated attack on Ukraine has been going on for at least a week and a half.

Meanwhile, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces does not rule out that on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion, February 24, Russia

may launch a new missile strike.
