Both of them were allegedly abducted by some 'cow vigilantes' on Wednesday.

Saini, 32, a resident of Firozpur Jhirka in Nuh district in Haryana, was arrested on Friday night on the basis of interrogation and technical analysis.

Police said that Saini, who was driving the taxi, was associated with a cow protection group.

A police officer said Junaid had a criminal record of cattle smuggling and had five cases registered against him in different police stations.

Earlier, the officials had also announced financial assistance of Rs 20.5 lakh to each victim's family.

One of the main accused in the case is Mohit Yadav alias Monu Manesar, Gurugram District President of Bajrang Dal and a member of the alleged 'Gauraksha Dal'.
