[Reporter Ou Sumei/Taichung Report] Taian Cherry Blossom Season kicked off yesterday in Houli, Taichung City!

Nearly 10,000 people were present on the first day, and there were more tourists today. Although traffic control was in place, some tour buses strayed into Fuxing Road. Due to the narrow road, the vehicles could not advance or retreat. Fortunately, the police from Tai’an Police Station assisted in directing the tour buses. In order to leave the venue smoothly, the police appeal to the public to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Tai'an. It is best to take the train to Xintai'an Railway Station and get off and walk in to avoid traffic jams.

The Taian Cherry Blossom Season runs from February 18th to February 28th. About 200 double-petaled cherry blossoms are planted around the Taian Police Station. They are currently in full bloom. Zhang Zhixian, director of the Taian Police Station, said that yesterday, the first day of the Cherry Blossom Season attracted more than 8,000 people. Sakura, there are more tourists today. Although the traffic order is not bad, there are still tour buses that accidentally drive into the narrow Fuxing Road, causing them to be unable to advance or retreat. Fortunately, the police officers assisted in commanding them to get out of trouble. I appeal to the tour buses to go if they carry passengers. On Anmei Road, let tourists get off near Tai'an New Railway Station, so that the car will not be trapped.

Because the cherry blossoms in Tai'an are in full bloom, many tourists come to enjoy the cherry blossoms, and some women wear Japanese yukata to take pictures under the cherry blossom trees to feel the Japanese style, or take a trip to the nearby cypress pines.

The crowds are turbulent, and there are many stalls on site. The roads in the Tai'an community are narrow. Although many tourists park their cars at the Da'an River Embankment or private paid parking lots, the traffic is congested during the holidays. It is more convenient to take the train, walk or ride an iBike from Tai'an New Railway Station to the airport.

Taichung Houli Taian Cherry Blossom Season, due to the narrow roads in the Taian community, tourists are flooded, and nearly 10,000 people flocked on the first day.
