CBI will interrogate Manish Sisodia today in the matter of Delhi Liquor Policy.

New Delhi:

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia

has been called to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office in the national capital today for questioning in the Delhi Liquor Policy matter.

Manish Sisodia said today that Delhi's budget is to be presented in February.

Every moment of mine is precious in such an important time.

That's why I have written a letter to the CBI requesting them to keep the time after February for questioning.

Hope CBI officials will understand my point.

Whenever called after February, I will go.

Sources say that CBI can give time to Manish Sisodia.

Earlier on Saturday, Manish Sisodia tweeted in Hindi, "CBI has called me again yesterday (Sunday). They have unleashed the full might of CBI, ED (Enforcement Directorate) against me, raided my house, my bank lockers." Searched and still nothing was found against me."

BJP and AAP are accusing each other

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others have been accused of corruption through the new liquor sale policy (now cancelled) in the national capital.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had ordered a CBI inquiry last year.

Subsequently, the Delhi government scrapped the new liquor policy and reverted to the old liquor policy, blaming the lieutenant governor for the loss of crores of rupees in revenue, which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government claimed would have happened if the new policy had continued. It would have come. The BJP said that the Delhi government went back to the old liquor sale policy to hide corruption. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the BJP at the Center was behind the Lt Governor's decision to send the CBI after Sisodia.

Recently, relief to AAP from the Supreme Court,

the matter of liquor policy is on top of the long list of confrontation between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Lieutenant Governor.

For years, Arvind Kejriwal's government and Delhi's lieutenant governor's office have fought over who has the real power to run the national capital.

Arvind Kejriwal has had serious disagreements with the office of the Lieutenant Governor over the functioning of the Delhi administration.

The latest instance of tussle between the Lieutenant Governor and the Aam Aadmi Party happened just two days ago, when the Supreme Court agreed to the Aam Aadmi Party's request that members of Delhi's civic body nominated by the Lieutenant Governor cannot vote in the mayoral election .

K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter also accused

A day after Aam Aadmi Party's Supreme Court victory, the CBI asked Sisodia to come to its office today for questioning in the Delhi Liquor Sale Policy case.

Recently, the CBI arrested Buchibabu Gorantla, former chartered accountant of Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and Kavitha, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, whose bastion the BJP wants to break.
