Bhopal:
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called a meeting of his cabinet in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal on Sunday, the next day of Shivratri.
Due to which the market of political discussion is hot.
Usually the cabinet meeting is held on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The commotion is also because the Chief Minister returned to Nagpur on Wednesday after meeting Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat.
This meeting is being seen as a sign of some major change in the political and administrative corridor.
By the way, cabinet expansion and political appointments in corporations are also pending in Madhya Pradesh.
A senior BJP minister told NDTV, "We have been called to the CM residence around 11 am. After the tree plantation, the CM will meet us face-to-face. At 6 pm, we have been asked to attend the cabinet meeting. That development May discuss the events that happened during the yatra or may be given some advice and suggestions to the Ministers whose report card is not up to the mark like they have held personal meetings with MLAs in the recent past based on the findings of internal surveys of the party Let us inform that the development journey of the government in the state started on 5th February and will end on 25th February.
The important thing is that for the last few months, there is speculation about the change in the cabinet.
But the cabinet reshuffle is yet to happen.
It remains to be seen whether this actually happens in the coming days, as barely 8-9 months are left for the assembly elections.
Another minister said that it is not normal for the government to hold a cabinet meeting on Sunday, anything can happen or nothing can happen.
However, from this meeting on Sunday, Gujarat-like movement is visible at least among the ministers.
When in September 2021, the then Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and his cabinet left the post.
Just 14 months before the elections, the entire new cabinet was formed under the leadership of Bhupendra Patel.
Some people are also seeing Sunday's meeting in Bhopal as a foretaste of a possible reshuffle in the state cabinet.
