North Korea

has threatened "unprecedented and decisive responses" if the US and South Korea continue planned military exercises.

Reuters writes about it.

Thus, in a statement distributed to the North Korean media, the country's Foreign Ministry noted that the planned military exercises between South Korea and the United States increase tensions in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that they will consider the possibility of applying additional military measures in the event that the UN Security Council, under the influence of the United States, continues to put pressure on the DPRK.

South Korea and the United States are preparing for annual military exercises as part of efforts to better counter North Korea's growing nuclear and missile threats.
