In Afghanistan, representatives of the

movement , which seized power in the country, stopped the sale of contraceptives in two large cities - "their use is a conspiracy of the West to control the Muslim population."

The Guardian writes about it.

Journalists learned that the Taliban go to pharmacies and order to remove all contraceptives and remedies from the shelves.

"They came to me twice with guns and threatened me not to keep birth control pills for sale. They regularly check every pharmacy in Kabul and we have stopped selling these products," said the owner of one of the Kabul pharmacies.

Other pharmacists in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif also reported being banned from stocking any contraceptives.

"Contraceptive pills and injections cannot be stored in the pharmacy since the beginning of this month, and we are very afraid to sell stocks," said another pharmacy owner.

It will be recalled that the coming to power of the radical movement "Taliban" in Afghanistan caused horror among local residents, especially women.

Many women and girls were forced to leave their families and flee from the settlements captured by the Taliban.
