BP together with SOCAR and Bogaz International Limited conducted an inspection of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline and its facilities after the earthquake in Turkey.

"APA-Economics" informs that BP's regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gary Jones told journalists at the event dedicated to the results of 2022.

According to him, as a result of the inspection, no serious damage was found, and therefore the export of oil through the pipeline was not stopped.

Gary Jones also added that although there was a slight interruption in the loading of oil onto tankers at the terminal located in Ceyhan, this process has been restored and after the end of this week, oil shipments to the world markets will return to the normal schedule.
