This is stated on the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

According to the data of the seismological center, the earthquake occurred in the area of ​​the Kuril Islands at 22:38 local time.

The epicenter of the earthquake is at a depth of 166 kilometers. 

Note that on February 7, an earthquake was recorded near the Kuril Islands. 

The epicenter of the earthquake was 189 kilometers from Severno-Kurilsk. 

Seismologists recorded an underground tremor with a magnitude of 5.8.
