UP Board Exams 2023:

UP Board's class 10th and class 12th board exams are starting today, February 16.

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has made complete preparations for the board examinations.

A total of 58,85,745 candidates have registered for the UP Board exam this year.

Out of the total students, 31,16, 487 students will appear in the High School and 27,69,258 students will appear in the Intermediate exam.

UPMSP secretary Divyakant Shukla said that this is the largest number of registrations in the UP board exams in the last five years.

eight thousand exam centers 

UP Board has set up 8,753 exam centers including 540 government, 3,523 private centers and 4,690 unaided colleges.

The admit cards for appearing in the UP Board exams have already been given to the students by the schools.

On the other hand, students of private schools can download UP Board Admit Card 2023 from the board's website.

Students will not be allowed to enter the examination center without the admit card.

Students will also have to carry ID proof issued by the government.

UP Board's class 10th exams will end on March 3 and class 12th on March 4.

The examinations will be conducted in two shifts.

The first shift will be from 8:00 am to 11:15 am and the second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

Students will be given extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

Strict arrangements at the exam center

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions to ensure board exams are copy-free.

For this, setting up of special control rooms at exam centres, CCTV surveillance and FIR under the provision of National Security Act (NSA) and Gangster Act against those found guilty of cheating are included.

Not only this, Sector Magistrate has been appointed at each examination center.
