The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, announced that Russia's offensive has already begun.

He told about this in an interview with the BBC.

The president noted that Russian attacks are taking place in several directions at once.

He is convinced that the Ukrainian defenders will be able to stop the advance of the Russian invaders.

The president also called on the West to quickly provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons.

"Russian attacks are already taking place from several directions," the president explained.

The president emphasized that the only thing that will speed up peace is weapons, because only such conditions are understood by Russia.

"Of course, modern weapons accelerate peace. Weapons are the only language that Russia understands," the president said.

Russia's attack on Ukraine

At the end of 2022, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi reported in his article that Russia was preparing for a new offensive on the territory of Ukraine.

Kyiv may also be under threat in 2023.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on February 15 that the Russian occupiers continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the

Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Shakhtar directions.

Former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Army General Mykola Malomuzh believes that the Russian Federation does not have such a resource for an offensive as it was on February 24, 2022.
