The Kremlin intends to use an air campaign that will help to destroy Ukrainian air defense systems at the first stage, and then - military facilities, personnel, command posts, etc.

That is why Russia is launching balloons and pulling aircraft to the Ukrainian border.

Military expert Vladyslav Seleznyov told about this on Apostrof TV.

According to him, most military analysts believe that the Russian army will not be able to achieve any results on the ground, so it will try to use

aviation as much as possible, where it has total superiority in the sky.

"We are talking about the implementation of a separate air campaign, which is designed to destroy the air defense system of Ukraine at the first stage, and then, when there will be absolute dominance of the

Russian aviation in the sky over Ukraine,

Russian planes will destroy Ukrainian military facilities, concentration of personnel, warehouses , command posts and so on," the expert noted.

Commenting on the possibility of implementing such a plan for Russian pilots, Seleznyov emphasized that it depends on the intensity of supplies of military-technical assistance from Western partners.

He also added that Putin will continue to carry out massive missile attacks to destroy the railway infrastructure, major railway hubs of Ukraine, where military aid from partners is transported.

"If we are so actively considering this component of an air attack by the Russian Federation, then this attack can take place anywhere. We know that on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, the aircraft of Putin's army, which until recently took part in exercises, have remained. It is obvious that on territories

of the Kursk and Voronezh regions, as well as in the Rostov region,

there are military airfields from which enemy aircraft can operate. As well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea," Seleznyov added.

Russia withdraws aviation and launches "balloons" over Ukraine

According to Western media, Russia is increasing the number of aircraft near the Ukrainian borders, but the US does not see the threat of an air attack.

The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, stated that they do not detect signs of Russia's increase in aviation, but he emphasized the importance of strengthening Ukrainian air defense.

In parallel with this, "balloons" with corner reflectors began to be noticed over the territory of Ukraine.

In intelligence, it is believed that in this way the Russian Federation collects data on the work of air defense.
