It is alleged that this person is close to the MLA of Bathinda Rural.

The Vigilance Bureau took this action on the complaint of the husband of the woman sarpanch of Ghuda village of Bathinda district.

The complaint said that Resham Garg (allegedly close to the Bathinda Royal MLA) was demanding a bribe of Rs 5 lakh in exchange for issuing a grant of Rs 25 lakh to the gram panchayat, of which Rs 50,000 had already been taken by him. Was.

When Resham came to collect the second installment of Rs 4 lakh bribe, the Vigilance Bureau caught him by laying a trap.
