About 7-8 thousand people remain in the temporarily occupied Severodonetsk of Luhansk region.

Oleksandr Stryuk, the head of the Severodonetsk city military-civilian administration, announced this on the air of an information telethon.

"Unfortunately, about 7-8 thousand people remain (in Severodonetsk - ed.). Taking into account the surrounding villages, the population is somewhere up to 10 thousand. And there are about a thousand children and teenagers who remain in the territory of the community under occupation." - he said.

According to Stryuk, communal services were not systematically restored there, as the city's infrastructure was almost completely destroyed.

"Electricity was artificially supplied to the city, but it is only enough for lighting in some houses, which more or less survived. The same applies to the centralized water supply. Since the collector is damaged, there is water only in certain microdistricts of the city, and it works by the hour. With the situation is very difficult with heat - it is almost non-existent. They are trying to close the heat circuits only on the surviving entrances", - noted the head of the Central Office.

We would like to remind you that in the near future, the attacks of the occupiers may intensify in Luhansk region.
