Humanitarian aid consisting of 25 containers was sent to Turkey from Bilajari railway station.

According to the report of "APA-Economics", the chairman of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC Rovshan Rustamov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagchi took part in the humanitarian aid departure ceremony.

According to information, aid will be delivered to people affected by the strong earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaras and 10 provinces via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

The humanitarian aid sent today consists mainly of medical supplies, heaters and generators and will reach the apartment within 3 days.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani community, which showed solidarity with the Turkish people from the first days of the natural disaster, closely participates in large-scale aid campaigns.

Ambassador Cahit Bagchi thanked the state and people of Azerbaijan for the great support shown during these difficult days.
