Lawyer Serhii Rudenko said that employees of the military commissions can serve summonses anywhere, where it is not prohibited by law.

The lawyer said this in an interview with Stopkor.

Rudenko also said that there are four types of subpoenas.

"De facto legislation does not provide for the place where the summons should be served: it can be served anywhere, where it is not prohibited by law. Summons conventionally have four types. The first is summons, which are actually served

to

clarify

the

details of the conscript: his place of residence , other information, etc.

The second type

of summons is intended to direct the conscript to pass the medical commission.

The third type

is the summons already, respectively, about the conscription.

And the fourth

is the actual mobilization order, which states that the conscript must come to the military commissariat

(territorial recruitment and social support centers - ed.)

within 24 hours," explained Rudenko.

We will remind you that Major Oleksandr Melnychuk of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told in a comment to NV what to do when a summons was issued on the street, but to a person who is registered at a territorial recruitment center in another city/district/region.

By the way, martial law and general mobilization have been extended in Ukraine until May 19, 2023.
