Whereas at most places over Jharkhand, at many places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Coastal and North Interior Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Kerala and at a few places over Mahe, The temperature is expected to be below normal at isolated places in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Gujarat.

The cold weather continued in many areas of Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday.

The Meteorological Department said in a report that the minimum temperature of Bathinda in Punjab was recorded at five degrees Celsius, two degrees Celsius less than normal.

According to him, the minimum temperature was 6.6 degree Celsius in Amritsar, 9.6 degree Celsius in Ludhiana, 9.2 degree Celsius in Patiala, 7.1 degree Celsius in Pathankot, 7 degree Celsius in Faridkot and 8 degree Celsius in Gurdaspur.
