The Food and Drug Administration regularly monitors the pesticide residues of imported and domestic agricultural products on the market, and cooperates with local health bureaus. In November and December last year, a total of 437 agricultural products were sampled for pesticide residue inspection, and 43 agricultural products that did not meet the requirements have been inspected by The follow-up office of the health bureau of the local government will transfer the traceable domestic agricultural products to the agricultural administration agency for source management according to law.

The unqualified agricultural products sampled include large berries, small leafy vegetables, melon vegetables, bean vegetables, fruit vegetables, citrus fruits, spice plants and other herbaceous plants, rhizome vegetables, dried beans, and pear fruits.

The Food and Drug Administration recommends that when purchasing vegetables and fruits, the public should not only choose seasonal vegetables and fruits, but also choose those with traceable agricultural product labels such as organic, production and sales history, and CAS high-quality agricultural products.
