The complaints of the residents of the capital about the backlog of their monthly bills with the payment of salty "building heating" fees, even by those who have given up heating, continue.

Complaints are especially frequent during the cold winter months.

The previous and current ombudsman's efforts to eliminate this injustice have proved futile.

It must be removed by a legislative decision.

But as it is clear from NSI data, this problem cannot affect the deputies, since in the new parliamentary season they will already receive record salaries, many times higher than those of ordinary citizens.

A good example in this regard is the decision of the municipal council in Plovdiv, where not long ago citizens who do not use heating were exempted from the waste tax.

Sure, they have to submit applications every year from consumers, but it's still something.

While such a practice has not yet been established in Sofia.

And thus is born a great injustice to the people,

because they seem to be doomed for life to pay for something they don't use.

For example, a subscriber who has given up heating pays an average of 50-60 BGN per month for the fact that the company's pipes enter the building, but not according to his wish.

Exceptions to this rule are new buildings, some of which do not have heating at all, or the installation is horizontal rather than vertical.

But how much are the new cooperatives compared to the mass panels, especially in the so-called "bedrooms" - the most densely populated neighborhoods!

We must admit that the previous ombudsman, Maya Manolova

Maya Bozhidarova Manolova is a Bulgarian politician, a representative from the parliamentary group of, as well as the current Diana Kovacheva

Diana Kovacheva was born in Sofia in 1975. She graduated in law from Sofia University "St. Kliment", they put a lot of work and effort to protect the civil rights of Sofians.

Unfortunately, in 2017, the Supreme Court issued a decision in support of the vicious fee

and contrary to the opinions of judges from previous court panels who had rejected it.

The reasonable proposal to exempt at least poor people from the tax in question did not pass either.

and the ombudsman, Diana Kovacheva

Diana Kovacheva was born in Sofia in 1975. She graduated from the Sofia University "St. Kliment" referred to the Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov

Alexander Nikolov has a Master's degree in finance from the UNSS.

In the last few months, he has been the executive for the many complaints from citizens who came to the ombudsman's institution against the high and incomprehensible bills related to the thermal energy from the building installations.

The department acted like they were hit and...

Thus, to this day, we are pouring the wrong money into the unreformed and poorly functioning company from the point of view of consumers, who do not understand what and why they are paying.

Does anyone understand, for example, what is written in the invoices of the company!?

Otherwise, for the politicians who benefit from the company on a quota basis, there is clearly a benefit.
