One of the most vehemently anti-Bulgarian MPs here said that Bulgaria should be punished and Macedonia protected.

The most active Bulgarian haters in the European Parliament, who constantly talk about how bad Bulgarians are and how Bulgaria should be punished, appear in photos of non-governmental organizations that are connected to the authorities in Skopje, it pays them.

He stated this in an interview for Novini.bg.

MEP Angel Jambazki.

He also pointed out in detail a person - a Bosnian, who is closely connected with Russian oligarchs and "dirty Russian money" who operate in Bosnia and Kosovo and lead "the Russian policy of destruction".

"They are creating tensions in Kosovo through the Serbian League and to divert attention from their catastrophe in Ukraine. The same is happening in Bosnia. Those who attack Bulgaria appear in pictures linked to dubious shadow assets," Dzambazki added.

Dzambazki: The European approach to Bulgaria's Schengen membership is political schizophrenia

The MEP also said that Commissioner Varhei asked in his native Hungarian language "how long he will answer to these idiots" during a questioning about the Republic of North Macedonia.

"When we tell you that those here consider us idiots, you don't believe it. Here is the proof. It was said by the commissioner himself, who should protect the interests of the Union and the Bulgarian state as a member state in the idea of expanding the European Union. He thinks that the beating of a Bulgarian is a question asked by idiots. He thinks that those who insist on human rights are idiots. That those who find it wrong to burn Bulgarian cultural institutions are idiots. The answer we get with annoyance is how long will answer to these idiots. These people look down on and consider European representatives to be nuisances and idiots,

who waste their time talking about their rights.

This is in very stark contrast to the constant talk of rights," said Djambazki.

He believes that even if Macedonia starts negotiations for EU membership, it will not undo the entrenchment of Russian influence there, because their party and business structures have been penetrated by it.

However, Dzambazki has been a supporter of future membership of North Macedonia in the European Union, of the restoration of cultural ties and of not having a border between our two brotherly peoples.
