It has long been time for the unification of all left-wing people in the country, said Vice President Iliana Yotova

Iliana Malinova Yotova is a Bulgarian politician, 5th Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

There has been an acute deficit of such unification, because now there are scattered small parties that cannot exercise influence either as a policy or as a decision, as they remain outside parliamentary life.

There is a need for a new Lesydren process – unification of the left in order to have stability on the left.

This is how Vice President Iliana Yotova commented to journalists in Suhindol about the creation of a new left-wing political formation

Iliana Malinova Yotova is a Bulgarian politician, the 5th Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, BTA reported.

This is necessary because for normal political life it is good to have a left, a right and a center, so that there is a real clash of ideas that will blunt the personal attacks, the confrontation between the parties, to regulate the real priorities and move forward.

I hope that this new formation on the left will give way to the middle generation, to young people who have a different view, Yotova said.

Leftist politics has always been a struggle for human rights, she added, and expressed hope that one day together with the BSP Bulgaria will have a stable political left and stable representation in the National Assembly.

Coalition "The Left!"

will participate in the early elections on April 2

The vice-president believes that after April 2, the position of political forces will not be the same and there will be opportunities for new majorities in the next National Assembly.

Yotova pointed out that people will believe those political parties that talk about the real problems and not about who will form a coalition with whom.

According to her, one of the important issues that should be on the agenda of the next National Assembly is the issue of volunteerism and the status of people who participate in rescue teams from various organizations during rescue operations in the event of disasters and accidents.
