The defense ministers of the NATO countries plan to raise the issue of aid to Moldova and Georgia, because Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has become a lesson for the Alliance.

This was announced by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

"We do not see any signs that President Putin is preparing for peace. We see that, on the contrary, he is preparing for new wars, new offensives and new attacks," he said.

Stoltenberg.

He noted that the Russian war started back in 2014, when the Alliance began to provide assistance to Ukraine, and its army has become much stronger since then.

Now Russian aggression threatens not only Ukraine.

The Alliance is already working on providing assistance to partner countries, in particular Georgia and Moldova.

"Now NATO is working on how to increase support to these countries related to cyber, crisis management and secure communications. I think one of the lessons we have already learned from the war in Ukraine is the importance of providing timely support partners. Just as it was important to support Ukraine before the invasion, it is equally important to support other partners who are vulnerable to Russian interference. And that is why the allies agreed to strengthen our partnership," Stoltenberg said.

It will be recalled that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also stated that the Alliance should have helped Ukraine more - before the Kremlin dared a full-scale invasion in February 2022.
