Two people were rescued today, the ninth day since the earthquakes in Turkey, after spending 198 hours under the ruins, Turkish private broadcaster CNN-Turk reported.

The two were pulled from the ruins in Kahramanmaras district, which was the epicenter of the devastating 7.7-magnitude and 7.6-magnitude quakes on February 6.
One of the rescued is a 17-year-old youth, according to Reuters.
Television showed footage of rescuers carrying two people on stretchers to nearby ambulances.
