People in Turkey and Syria are mired in grief as they try to survive without a home or sanitation.

Now they need power generators, blankets, warm clothes, water and food.

They need our support!

The leader of the European Liberals expressed gratitude to Commissioner Lenarcic and his entire team for the decisive action taken through the EU's civil protection mechanism.

"I would also like to applaud and thank the thousands of EU rescue teams and volunteers who are fighting for miracles on the ground.

It is a matter of solidarity, a matter of joining our forces to help the people of Turkey and Syria to get back to life.
