In the Kyiv region, there was an accident involving a drunk driver.

As a result of the incident, a 9-year-old child was injured.

The accident happened in the village of Zaprudya.

The press service of the Kyiv region police informs about this. 

A drunk driver drove into a ditch with two children in the cabin

"The law enforcement officers found out that the driver of the Ford, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, failed to control the vehicle and drove into a ditch," the report states. 

In addition to the driver, there were two of his children, aged 9 and 13, in the car.

The smaller child was hospitalized with injuries and bruises.
