According to Kaya, so far only one Albanian family has been pulled out alive from the ruins, BTA reported.

He criticized the Kosovo embassy in Turkey for not helping the families affected by the earthquake.

According to him, the aid for the Albanians in Turkey comes from other countries.

“Food is not a problem at the moment, but providing warmth is because it is very cold.

The country (Turkey) is sending stoves from where it can, but we are also helping as much as we can," Kaya said.

He added that many Albanians who live in the earthquake-affected areas are afraid to return to their homes.
