NATO defense ministers will discuss increasing defense spending.

APA reports that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a briefing before the meeting of defense ministers of the organization to be held tomorrow.

According to him, the ministers will agree on new ambitions for NATO's defense planning and discuss ways to increase the potential of the defense industry and increase the reserves.

They will also discuss steps to increase protection of critical underwater infrastructure and ways to increase defense spending within the alliance.

In order to have a significant increase in the production of weapons and ammunition, countries need to invest and prepare new plans," Stoltenberg stressed.
