A general mobilization is underway in Ukraine.

However, some men continue to receive repeated summons even after going to the TCC.

Lawyers Iryna and Vladyslav Leonov

explained

why men can receive a summons again.

According to the lawyers, territorial procurement centers in Ukraine are conducting increased mobilization.

According to her, subpoenas can be issued on the street to clarify data and pass a medical commission.

"In general, the conclusion of the VLK is valid for 12 months.

During martial law, even those who passed it planned shortly before mobilization undergo a repeated medical examination.

During this period, circumstances may have changed and a person who was previously recognized as suitable may, for example, now have reasons for postponement or vice versa," the lawyers explain.

It should be noted that the TCC must appoint a new VLK for a conscript if 12 months have passed since the last VLK.

"The delivery of a summons does not always mean that they will be sent to serve.

There may be a call to clarify the data, in which case you can provide medical documents regarding new diagnoses, examination results and, most importantly, a referral to the MSEK," the experts explain.

It is possible not to appear at the TCC if the conscript is in the hospital.

But this must be documented in the relevant TCC.

Mobilization in Ukraine

In Ukraine, martial law and general mobilization were extended for another 90 days - until May 18, 2023.

The pace of mobilization

has also increased

, as it is necessary to replenish losses and master new types of weapons transferred by allies.

The decree of the Cabinet of Ministers obliges

conscripts

who have reached the age of 27 to come to the conscription stations of the TCC and SZ to undergo a medical examination.

We would like to add that a reserve officer who categorically refused to be

mobilized

under martial law will be tried in Cherkasy region.

He faces from 3 to 5 years of imprisonment.
