In the Khmelnytsky region, four fishermen fell under the ice.

The rescuers managed to save two, the other two died.

This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service of Khmelnytskyi region.

According to rescuers, on Sunday morning, the bodies of two men born in 1961 and 1964 were retrieved from a reservoir in the village of Strekiv of the Vovkovynetsk territorial community.

"The Rescue Service "101" received a message from the police station on duty that the bodies of two fishermen were found on the surface of the reservoir without signs of life. Therefore, the help of emergency personnel is needed in removing the dead from the water. The fighters of the State Emergency Service with the help of an inflatable boat and a rope retrieved the bodies of two men and handed them over to the law enforcement officers to establish the causes and circumstances of the death," the message reads.
