:

"The latest EU sanctions package against Belarus remains deadlocked, mainly because of the proposed exemptions for Belarusian fertilizers.

I don't expect a breakthrough this week."

On February 15, EU ambassadors will discuss the 10th package of sanctions against Russia.

Earlier ,

Yuzvyak

reported that Belarus was not mentioned in the latest packages of EU sanctions at Ukraine's request.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that reports about Ukraine's request not to include Belarus in the latest EU sanctions package are untrue.

At the end of February 2022, part of the Russian troops, which participated in a full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, attacked Ukrainian cities from the territory of Belarus.

The territory of Belarus is also used by the Russian military command as a staging ground for missile and airstrikes against Ukraine.

At the same time, the Belarusian army does not participate in hostilities in Ukraine.

In October,

Alexander Lukashenko

acknowledged the participation of Belarus in Russia's war against Ukraine, but emphasized that Belarusians "do not kill anyone."

Periodically, various sources report that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to persuade Alexander Lukashenko to directly participate in the war.

Ukrainian authorities and Western special services do not see signs that Belarus is now preparing to enter the war, but they do not reject such a risk.
