In the Peruvian capital, another day of clashes between protesters and the police left at least two injured.

According to the media, in Apurímac some 40 people who had been detained for their participation in the marches were released.

Meanwhile, the Defense Minister confirmed that investigations were opened against more than

70 soldiers for the death of 10 civilians in the city of Ayacucho.
