The Tainan City Cultural Bureau pointed out that the Mountain Garden Waterway Museum area planted a variety of plants in the vast park during the Japanese occupation period, including century-old Podocarpus pine, Ryukyu pine, magnolia, etc. The Cultural Bureau also started in 2016 with the assistance of experts. Next, with Japanese-style architecture, a total of more than 500 Kawazu cherry trees, Fuji cherry trees, Yoshino cherry trees and Yae cherry trees were planted in the water purification pool area. The museum put in rescue efforts and replanted under the cherry tree saplings donated by Chairman Li Zhuangyuan of China Biotechnology and Hong Sanxiong, Chairman of National Bill General Securities.
