In the Dnipropetrovsk region on Sunday, February 12, rescuers helped 30 fishermen who were stuck on an ice floe in the middle of the river. 

This is reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. 

At 12:50, eyewitnesses reported to rescuers that on the Dnipro River near Shulgivka of the Petrikivska settlement council in the Dnipro district, two ice floes with fishermen were drifting from the shore.

Rescuers and divers arrived at the scene.

Also, local residents, who had a boat, joined in rescuing the fishermen.

"30 people were rescued from the ice by the units of the State Emergency Service and local residents. Monitoring is currently being carried out for the presence of fishermen in the crisis," the message says. 

We will remind you that a 14-year-old boy died in Rivne on his birthday.

He drowned in icy water.
