In Kahramanmarashi, Turkey, a two-month-old baby was rescued from the rubble of a house 128 hours after the earthquake.

This is reported by Hürriyet.

Rescuers from Istanbul's Kocaeli Municipality, who were sent to disaster areas after the earthquake, pulled the baby out from under the ruins on February 11.

The baby spent 128 hours under the rubble of a destroyed building in the Antakya district of Hatay.

After the rescue, the child was urgently hospitalized.

Rescuers and ordinary citizens were extremely happy after the baby was found alive.

In Kahranmarash, a 9-year-old boy was also pulled out alive from under the rubble.

After that, the Israeli and Turkish rescuers happily hugged each other, according to the TSN story.

In addition, in the Turkish city of Gaziantep, it was possible to rescue pregnant Zahide Kaya, who spent more than 115 hours under the rubble and survived.

Her 6-year-old daughter Kubra, who was pulled out literally an hour earlier, was also lucky.

In the province of Hatay, rescuers pulled out a woman who was blocked 2 m underground and also collapsed with a concrete slab.

It took more than 3 hours to free her from the trap.

Note that the number of people killed as a result of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has already reached almost 25,000. Such force of shocks from the ground in this region has not been seen for more than 200 years.

More than 30,000 rescuers from dozens of countries around the world, including Ukraine, are working at the scene of the tragedy.

Even on the sixth day after the cataclysm, rescuers continue to pull out alive children, adults and even animals from under the rubble.
