The Chinese search and rescue team delivered another good news today (10th) and rescued the second survivor 100 hours after the strong earthquake.
Our fire department announced earlier the good news from the search and rescue frontline; the Taiwan search and rescue team experienced 19 hours of rescue at the P-3 work site dispatched by SCC1. At 13:00 Taiwan time today, they together with the Turkish search and rescue team overcame the collapsed building Due to the difficulty of working in a confined space, using destructive equipment and support technology to destroy the collapsed structural columns, the 35-year-old trapped woman was rescued from the floor and various debris piles that were squeezed and deformed by the columns.

The fire department stated that the search and rescue team not only had to overcome the difficulty of the space limitation of the collapsed building, but also monitored the vital signs of the victims and provided medical assistance from the side; the rescued woman was sent to the hospital for treatment by a local ambulance. The clear and stable vital signs made the team very excited and hoped to help rescue more trapped people.
The Fire Department added that the team that is cooperating with the Taiwan Search and Rescue Team today is the "AKUT Search and Rescue Team", an old friend who came to assist in disaster relief after the 9.21 earthquake in Taiwan 23 years ago.
