On Friday, February 10, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred near the border of Kazakhstan with Russia.

During this week, earthquakes occurred in Kazakhstan for the second time.

This was reported by the seismological research-methodological expedition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.

According to experts, at 6:35 p.m. local time (2:35 p.m. Kyiv) at a distance of 208 km southeast of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, earthquakes were recorded.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km. 

The earthquake belongs to the weakest class, there were no reports of any destruction.

We will remind you that on February 6, when a devastating earthquake shook Turkey and Syria, tremors were also felt in Kazakhstan.

Then the magnitude of the oscillations was greater — 5.4.
