After the 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş province, 1,604 aftershocks have been recorded so far.

APA reports that the Emergency Situations Management Agency of Turkey (AFAD) released information about this.

It was reported that currently 141 thousand 779 rescuers and 12 thousand 444 equipment are working in the earthquake region.

It was noted that 6,810 rescuers came to help from foreign countries.

In addition, 26 ships, 156 planes and helicopters belonging to the Turkish Air Force, Ground Forces, Naval Forces, Coast Guard and Gendarmerie General Command, General Security Department operate in the region.
