Chen Shuhua pointed out that Taichung City has been merged and upgraded for more than 12 years. In other words, the planning of the MRT Blue Line after the merger has been going on for 12 years.

Only now is the public exhibition of urban planning, how many 12 years can the development of Taichung City be delayed?

In particular, in the four years since Lu Xiuyan took office, the blue line planning of the MRT has changed routes and stations due to specific interest factors, causing the blue line to be delayed again and again, and the progress has been delayed for 4 years.

Chen Shuhua pointed out that the MRT Blue Line passes through Taiwan Boulevard in Xitun District, the seventh-phase rezoning area, and the city government, and can connect to Zhongke and Taichung Industrial Parks. The importance is self-evident.

Among them, various MRT stations and development zones have issues of interest. Chen Shuhua specifically requested that the city government should take care of the transportation of all citizens and prevent the transfer of interests from harming the rights and interests of citizens.

In addition, MRT entrances and exits should be designed with consideration in order to maximize benefits.

Chen Shuhua pointed out that MRT Blue Line stations are collected at market prices and jointly developed. The city government should not only take care of consortiums and sacrifice the rights and interests of small landlords of old buildings.

In addition, the MRT underground street (Wenxin Road to Qiuhonggu) must be included in the planning.

Lin Qifeng said that after the change of the route of the blue line, residents along the line are worried that their land will be expropriated or half of their houses will be demolished.
