[Central News Agency] American technology giant Meta Platforms spokesman Andy Stone confirmed today that the company has restored former President Trump's (Donald Trump) access to Facebook and Instagram (IG).

It has been two years since Trump was suspended following a deadly riot on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, 2021, Reuters reported.

Meta said last month that Trump would be unbanned "in the next few weeks." If Trump violates Meta's content policy again, he will implement enhanced punishment measures ranging from one month to two years of suspension.

Trump is preparing to compete for the White House again in 2024, and now he has regained an important platform for getting close to voters and political fundraising.

As of January this year, he has 23 million followers on IG and 34 million followers on Facebook.
