[Reporter Chen Wenchan/Kaohsiung Report] The Fengshan Infantry Training Headquarters in Kaohsiung said today that a 100-man unit completed combat training yesterday, received equipment for maintenance and put it into storage, but found that it lacked a bayonet. The military emphasized that it was lost, not stolen. A search of the camp is currently underway.

Nearly 3,000 soldiers from the Fengshan Infantry Training Headquarters in Kaohsiung recently received training in the camp. They conducted combat training yesterday afternoon and maintained equipment until 6 p.m. after the exercises.

One of the troops, with more than 100 people, sent the equipment to the armory at about 7 o'clock last night. The military found that there was a lack of a bayonet, and the bayonet has not been found so far.

The infantry training department emphasized that a bayonet was lost. At present, the trainees are asked to search for it in the camp area. They deny that the bayonet was stolen and did not report to the police.
