From Friday, February 10,

Poland

will close the border crossing with Belarus "Bobrivniki - Berestovitsa".

The decision was made for security purposes.

This was announced on Twitter by the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mariusz Kaminski.

"Due to the important interests of state security, I have decided to suspend traffic at the Polish-Belarusian border crossing in Bobrovnyky from February 10 this year, starting at 12:00, until further notice," he wrote.

By the way, the Bobrovnyki checkpoint is one of the largest border crossings on the Polish-Belarusian border.

We will remind you that

last year, on November 2, Poland started construction of a temporary fence

on the border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.

The building will be built by analogy with the one built earlier on the Polish-Belarusian border.
