Kazakhstan authorities intend to build five border trade centers with neighboring countries by 2026.

"APA-Economics" informs about this with reference to the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

"Industrial trade and logistics complex will be created in Jambyl province, located on the border with Kyrgyzstan. "Central Asia" International Industrial Cooperation Center will be created in Turkestan region, on the border with Uzbekistan. "Eurasia" cross-border trade center is planned to be built in West Kazakhstan province, on the border with Russia. "Caspian Knot" container in Mangistau province junction, and the "Khorgos Junction" border complex will be built on the border with China," the information states.

According to information, the activity of trade and logistics hubs will be aimed at ensuring industrial cooperation in the field of warehouse, storage, processing, production of new goods and further sale by integrating them into international commodity distribution systems.

"Besides, short-term storage, logistics, lease of commercial premises, pre-sale preparation, consolidation and redistribution of goods on wholesale lots, loading and unloading, development of transcontinental freight services will also be provided here.

It is assumed that the cross-border nodes will cover the export potential of enterprises in the regions of Kazakhstan," the information states.
