Together with Bulgarian specialists, they will propose options for stopping the landslide processes along the rivers.

This was shared by the regional governor Angel Stoev and the mayor of the municipality of Karlovo, Dr. Emil Kabaivanov, after the two inspected how the restoration of the infrastructure is going after the flood in September of this year.

In the discussion and finding a solution to the problem, experts from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of the Interior will participate, the regional governor said.

The riverbeds must be restored in such a way that they do not allow floods and disasters during heavy rains, Stoev said.

In total, the number of public procurements for the flooded villages is over 40, Kabaivanov said.

Until now, the state has provided the municipality of Karlovo with more than BGN 12 million for restoration activities.
